New Regulations!!
In effect for the 2015 Season. Please note our Tech Committee has been putting in 5-7 hours a week over the past 3 weeks hashing out ideas to better our club. See below and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact someone from the Tech Committee under the "Contact Us" tab. Please note: a) Waiting for 2 contact numbers for Tech Committee members and b) The actual regulations PDF document hasn't been updated yet. TO ALL MEMBERS! The rule-tech committee has worked hard all winter to figure out a plan to close the gap between our two lower classes, stock and mod stock. What we came up with is a NEW CLASS!!! We also implemented a few changes to stock super stock and pro mod to further enhance the club!!! Starting with STOCK NOW BEING NAMED "Street Stock", and is regulated as follows: STREET STOCK- Factory production vehicles. Factory engines for that series of trucks. Max 3 exterior engine bolt-ons. No internal engine work or porting. Must make 20 inches of vacuum. Trucks must remain street legal with exception that open exhaust is allowed. Does not have to be registered, but should be "able" to be. No traction devises. DOT tire, no cutting allowed. Next is the new class dubbed "Stock" and is laid out as follows: Brand matched power-train components, ford in ford, etc. Full production body's and components, bumpers, etc. No gutting. Aftermarket cast iron blocks and heads allowed. No strokers. Longest stroke that was available from factory on that engine series is max stroke. 850 cfm limit. No roller cams unless said engine came with them, and then they must remain hydraulic. Must make 15 in of vacuum. No traction or transfer devises. Dot tires, no size restriction. No drive-line or u-joint guards are manditory, but are advised. No upright exhaust. Must exit under truck or to side or rear. Super-stock is now allowed to run a turbo charged motor Pro mod now is allowed to run turbos as well
